Ap/ar Officer

Vets Central is on a mission to become Australia's leading veterinary partner, supporting the delivery of quality veterinary services to the community. We are now seeking a dedicated **AP/AR Officer** to join our fantastic support office team on a full-time basis.

**About the Opportunity**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounts Receivable**
- Perform daily reconciliations of practice management systems and bank feeds
- Communicate with clinics to resolve discrepancies and variances

**Accounts Payable**
- Process supplier invoices and complete weekly payment runs
- Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure tax compliance
- Assist with invoice entry and vendor account setup using Continia Document Capture

**Administrative Support & Process Improvement**
- Continuous review of processes to identify efficiencies
- Support month-end activities and ad-hoc financial reporting
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth financial operations

**About You**:
To thrive in this role, you should have at least two years of experience in AP/AR or accounting positions. We’re looking for someone with:

- Strong financial aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Experience with Business Central & Continia Document Capture (desired but not essential)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, responsible, and efficient with the ability to meet deadlines
