**Community Connections Australia (CCA) is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team. We currently have positions available on the Northern Beaches. You would be supporting our family to become active and visible rather than labelled for their differences, helping to increase their experience, choices and decision making to become contributors within our community.**

**We are seeking Support Workers in the community services sector to assist our people in achieving their independent living goals, by providing support with their daily living activities at home or elsewhere in the community.**

**Your Responsibilities include**:

- A focus on supporting people's individual goals and wishes
- Supporting independence through effective role modelling and teaching skills acquisition
- Assisting people with personal care, catch up experiential learning opportunities and involvement in community activities
- Assisting people’s skills acquisition for household and domestic management
- Personal care assistance as required

You must have:

- Strong communication skills
- Problem solving skills and energy
- Ability to follow plans and directives
- Drivers Licence
- Your own fully insured motor vehicle
- NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- Available to work nights and sleepovers

- 8 hour shift
