This is a unique opportunity for an experienced **Workforce Planning Officer** to join the dynamic Staffing Team at VenuesLive WA.
**How You’ll Shine**
Reporting to the Head of Staffing, the Workforce Planning Officer will form part of the People & Culture Team and will work closely with our Business Operational Partners (Ops) to advise, guide and assist with the delivery of Optus Stadium’s Staffing Operations program, you will be responsible for the management of our Casual Workforce and the preparation and delivery of consistent and efficient rosters.
**Key Focus**
- Publish rosters in agreed timing and manage any changes with OPs partners
- Ensure shifts are rostered according to the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award
- Partner with OPs to complete deployment plans for relevant portfolios ensuring all operations are adequately resourced with the right level of skills and capabilities for the relevant event
- Assisting OPs team with service delivery during peak period on event day as required
- First point of contact for Casual Workforce, providing direction and support, ensuring wellness of workforce during events and managing Agency staff
- Ensure engagement with Casual workforce is proactive and regular resulting in an engaged workforce
- Manage any staff performance issues with OPs, administering the investigation and/or disciplinary/grievance process and implementing decision including development plans and/or terminations
- Partner with P&C other departments on the management on any workers compensation cases, acting as the point of contact for the employee, assisting in return-to-work programs with safety and OPs

- While standard hours are 7.30am to 6.00pm, the nature of the event industry means that you may be required to work outside these hours particularly around events being staged at Optus Stadium and Stadium Park
**What You’ll Bring**

- A detailed oriented person with strong attention to detail skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet pre-set roster publication datelines
- Be proactive with solution focused problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
- Exceptional people skills
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role
