Security Control Room Operator

**About the Role**:
We are looking for dedicated full-time Control Room Operators to manage high-profile facilities and locations throughout metropolitan Sydney.

**Please Note**: This position requires a valid NSW 1A Security Licence.

In this dynamic role, you will handle a variety of activities including continuous CCTV surveillance, responding to alarms, and monitoring communication systems. You will need to manage multiple tasks and security scenarios simultaneously, making quick decisions and following procedures in real-time.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, direct, and coordinate small to medium-sized teams, including managing responses to incidents and emergencies.
- Prepare and deliver shift operational briefs and brief staff on their duties.
- Operate and manage control room technical systems and equipment, including complex data entry.
- Monitor and observe through surveillance systems including CCTV.
- Respond to alarm activations promptly.
- Oversee access control systems.
- Maintain data and security records, including communication logs and detailed reports.
- Manage and distribute security operational equipment.

**Skills and Experience**:

- NSW 1A Security Licence (1E highly regarded).
- Minimum 12months Security experience.
- Proven experience in control room operations, including handling various technical systems.
- Minimum of 3 to 6 months of control room experience.
- Strong customer service background.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional personal presentation.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Card.
- White Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Fire Warden certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Full NSW Driver’s Licence.
- Working With Children Check.

Pay: $35.00 - $36.00 per hour
