Sydney, Australia Tag Group Full time

**Division**:Procurement

**Job type**:Supplier Relations Coordinator

**Location**:Sydney, Australia

At **TAG**, our company values matter. Each member of our staff should exemplify **T**eamwork, an **A**mbitious spirit and a **G**enuine attitude.

It is important that you have passion for the job you do, as well as a drive to want to do better. In return, TAG will support your growth and development, as well as offer opportunities to progress or maybe even change tack

**The What**:
As a Supplier Relations Coordinator you will have a diverse and varied role. Here are just some of the things you’ll be getting involved with:

- Assist the team with development of supplier programs and relationships
- Provide high level of service internally and externally
- Assist the team with documentation and data management for the Request for Pricing (RFP) process, including distribution and loading of supplier rate updates
- Action internal queries related to vendors and RFPs, providing solutions and liaising with staff and suppliers
- Assist in increasing value-added benefits for TAG clients (e.g., upgrades)
- Collect and store hotel information on relevant database systems
- Ensure data accuracy and update relevant files as needed
- Develop and maintain working relationships with hoteliers and other suppliers
- Attend industry events to enhance TAG’s profile in the hotel industry
- Assist the team in the coordination of staff attendance at supplier training sessions and industry events
- Encourage attendance at in-house training, presentations, FAM trips, and supplier functions
- Ensure smooth operation of back-office systems related to suppliers
- Operate in accordance with local bribery legislation and company policies
- Contribute to other supplier relations activities as needed
- Coordinate the delivery of TAG/Sound Travel packages for key events in Australia
- Be proactive in building relationships with key suppliers and hotel partners
- Provide customer service and adhere to service level agreements and company PCI regulations
- Assist with the compilation and delivery of rooming lists to hotel partners
- Work with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments where required
- Assist the team with the setup of allocations and contracts for suppliers and vendors
- Maintain supplier profiles, assist with load inventory, and update supplier details in the system

**The How**:
To be successful at TAG is as much about mindset and attitude as it is about skill set and qualifications. We’re a team who share the same desire and passion to go above and beyond for each and every client. We revel in making the seemingly impossible possible, always rising to the challenge with ambition and a genuine, open attitude.

We work flexibly to accommodate our TAG team colleagues, meaning on occasion there could be requirements outside of office hours to manage time zones and other work commitments. As a Supplier Relations Coordinator there are several credentials and attributes which would be advantageous, but a determined attitude and willingness to learn, are equally important.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in a service-based role, preferably within procurement or the travel & tourism industry
- Travel and tourism knowledge
- Knowledgeable about Australian, NZ & Asia hotels, specifically destinations close to major venues.

**The Where and When**:
This is a full-time role based in our Sydney office. Since March 2020, we have operated a flexible, hybrid approach to working and will continue to do this moving forward. We will work with you to find the best mix of office and home working that suits your life and the needs of the team.

You will report into the Commercial Director, who is based in Sydney. There are other regional teams based in Singapore, NZ, UK and the US that you may work closely with, too.

The Important Bit

As passionate as you may be about changing the face of travel, let’s be honest - you're not doing this for free. So, here’s our promise to you:

- Competitive salary DOE
- Wellness/EAP programme
- Employee discounts
- Employee benefits

We are also committed to offering an equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.

**How to Apply**:
And before you press send, please make sure you’re eligible to work in Australia
