
Administrative Assistant/receptionist

A company in Western Sydney is currently seeking a friendly, self-motivated, and hard-working person to join their team.
This position is suitable for a highly organised individual and requires a strong level of communication and computer skills, along with excellent spoken and written English.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Operations Manager.
**Duties include**:
- Answering telephone calls
- Maintaining records and databases
- Data entry
- Booking couriers
- File management
- Booking travel arrangements, including air fares, accommodation and car hire for consultants
- Managing petty cash
**Essential**:
- Highly organised
- Ability to multi-task to complete a range of administrative duties
- Ability to follow procedures efficiently and effectively
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer relation and people skills
- Good phone manner
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team environment
- Minimum two years’ administrative work experience
**Desirable**:
- Experience in accounting
- Experience with WorkflowMax (or similar practice management system)
- Tertiary education
- Driver’s license and car
Applicants for this position should have Australian Residency or an Australian Work Visa.
This is a Casual position of 25 hours per week.
**About us**:
We are a provider of specialist risk management services with a team of 30 consultants located in Sydney’s outer west. Free on-site parking and excellent work conditions are offered.
The office is located approximately 1.3.km from Auburn station.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $29.96 - $34.58 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
