From two blokes in a warehouse in Byron Bay to 11 sales offices worldwide including America and the bright and sunny UK, it is safe to say we are making a lot of noise in the industry, in just five laps around the sun. From selling solar panels to batteries to carbon-neutral energy, all the way through to virtual power plants,
**_Smart Energy_** is putting solar on the map.
Australia is in the midst of an “energy crisis”, the “Perfect Storm” they’re calling itof limited gas supply and electricity price hikes. This has urged Aussie homeowners to seek sunnier solutions to our current energy market. In turn, Smart Energy is starting to feel the effects of this crisis, but in a positive light We’re seeing an increase of interest in renewable energy solutions such as solar and batteries, which means more appointments are being booked and in turn, more appointments needing to be scheduled across our 9 Australian-based sales offices.
We are looking to bring on board a new ‘Smartie’ in a Junior Sales Scheduler position to work alongside our Sales Coordinator to help ensure these appointments are being actioned and fulfilled. This position is offered on a full time basis working from our Byron Bay office.
**Every day, you’ll be**:
- Actioning appointment cancellations, reschedules and queries that come through our communication channels from Sales Managers, Specialists and Lead Generators.
- Setting up and managing sales campaigns over 10 offices nationwide
- Communicating with the Salesforce Product Owner about issues that our Specialists are experiencing with the platform
- Managing, assigning and fairly despatching appointments to our Solar Specialists and Business Development Managers
- Working with the Sales Managers and our Operations team to manage the onboarding of new Specialists
- Working with different personalities and management styles
**You must have**:
- Experience using Google Workplace or MS Office
- Hospitality or customer service background
- The ability to work unsupervised at a fast pace
- The ability to multitask
- Strong organisational skills
**Bonus points**:
- Administration experience
- Salesforce experience (MEGA bonus)
- Scheduling experience
- Sales experienced preferred but not essential
