**About Us**
Yugen Dining, a new Asian fusion restaurant spanning two floors in South Yarra has finally opened With the addition of our Omakase bar coming in a few weeks' time and our steadily increasing bar trade, we are looking to add to our existing Bar team. We are searching for experienced bartenders with an interest in unique ingredients, delicious food and genuine service.

**Here's what's cool about the job**:

- Our cocktail list is mínimalist and ingredient driven - Think whisky highballs infused with Bamboo leaves and Green Tea Umeshu, or a margarita-adjacent cocktail that derives its acid from Sudachi and its salinity from squid ink.
- Our contracts are tailored to your personal circumstance. We're happy to offer part-time, full-time, or casual contracts so that you can have the flexibility or stability that you fits your lifestyle
- Our staff meals are amazing with a different cuisine focus every day.
- Our company is Chef driven with an insane amount of back of house resources behind it; our in-house production and pastry kitchens collaborate with the bar to produce our batches, syrups & infusions, saving a ridiculous amount of prep time.
- There is, of course, plenty of room to grow, develop within not only Yugen, but the LK Hospitality company. The restaurant is located below Yugen Tea Bar, an award winning-teahouse led by one of Australia's most distinguished tea sommeliers. Part of the group is sister venue Omnia, a brasserie with an impressive cocktail and wine list. With more growth on the way, we have multiple pathways for development and advancement whether your interest is in food, cocktails, wine, tea, sake, operations or management.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Bar management / supervisory experience.
- Strong spirits, cocktail and beverage knowledge from classics to custom designed drinks.
- Nurture the junior staff to success through mentorship and training.
- Ability to manage beverage costing, stocktake and rostering.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage high pressure situations, leading by example.
- Passion for customer service, you are genuinely hospitable.
- Valid RSA.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding sequence of service.
