The Emerson, consists of three luxurious levels, including a Club, Cocktail Bar & Lounge with private booths, and Rooftop bar serving a califorian inspired menu. The Emerson caters to a variety of functions and events, whether it's a rendezvous in the Club, a private celebration in the Cocktail Lounge, or a corporate social on the Rooftop.

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Duty Manager located in South Yarra. The Duty Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing staff, handling customer inquiries and issues, enforcing health and safety regulations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth functioning. The role requires hands-on involvement in all areas of the venue.

Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality management and customer service
  • Must hold a current RSA certificate
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Relevant certifications in hospitality or management are a plus
