An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Retail Leasing Manager to join our Property team. Using your extensive understanding of retail property and innate negotiation skills, you will be a key contributor towards the organisation's success by way of effective lease management and negotiation. At MFG, we understand the critical role of the Property team in achieving organisational health and we are looking for someone to join us in our continued success.
What your day will look like;
Reporting to the General Manager Property, you will join a highly respected property team and will be involved in optimising our retail footprint across Australia.

Undertake end to end negotiations of lease renewals utilising store performance and market data
Interpret and effectively convey lease terms to key stakeholders.
Identify and negotiate new store opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the Property team, Store Development and Legal representation towards ultimate Store Optimisation
Keep abreast of market intel and share knowledge with wider Property team to assist in unified recommendations.

More about you;
This role requires someone who can bring strong communication, engagement and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience with property negotiations. You will have extensive experience working closely with retail and shopping centre groups to achieve best possible outcomes. You will be comfortable presenting directly to the executive committee and operate at a pace that allows for high performance.

**Ideally you will have**:
Exceptional networking and stakeholder management skills
Strong relationships within the Australian Shopping Centre Owners and Retailer groups
Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Retail Leases Act, Australian Standards, Regulations and Codes of Practice
Have a growth mindset and ability to work in a change environment
Knowledge of financial analysis techniques
High competency and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Ability to work within a lean and agile property team
Experience with Lease Eagle preferred but not essential
Minimum 5 Years' experience in a similar role
