About the role:
The National Leasing Manager is a newly created role that will manage all property-related components of Nando’s existing and growing estate.

They will develop a strategy around estate composition, ensuring optimum commercial and trading outcomes are achieved through new lease acquisition and management.

Key aspects to this role are:
- Translate Nando’s estate growth ambition into a pipeline of new site opportunities- Develop a clear estate strategy and regional network plan- Provide guidance and support to the Leasing Coordinator- Lead Nando’s external leasing support partners across ANZ- Engage with landlords on new site acquisitions, lease renewal and portfolio management- Enable lease assignment for franchise acquisitions and support Franchisees through lease renewal processes- Work collaboratively with Geotech and other external research businesses to map Nando’s ANZ current and future estate- Make divestment recommendations if required

What you will bring:
- Extensive experience in retail leasing in a senior capacity- Previous team management experience- Record of commercial excellence in site acquisition and lease renewals- Experience managing externally appointed leasing support partners- Experience engaging with landlords on new site acquisition, lease renewall and portfolio management- Ability to interpret lease documents and understand Retail Leasing legislation- Experience in Drive-Thru development highly regarded- Experience in casual dining, QSR and/or franchising highly desirableOne last flex:
