Ozcare is looking for a new Manager - Contracts to join our dynamic team. This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization. _

**Your Role**

Reporting to the Group Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the legal and commercial integrity of customer and supplier contracts to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. You'll also play a key role in developing, negotiating and driving contractual agreements in a highly quality sensitive manner, with the objective of maximising profit, managing risk and optimising performance. You will be pivotal in managing established contracts across Ozcare for goods and services to ensure the delivery of outcomes in line with contract objectives and stakeholder requirements.

**As a Manager - Contracts **, you will also**:

- Act as an organisational spokesperson on matters relating to assigned contracts and maintaining liaison between the organisation and the client.
- Providing dedicated support to major accounts at the negotiation and drafting stage of deals.
- Promoting the organisation in the marketplace as professional in relation to all contract negotiations and dealings.
- Providing recommendations to line management on legal and financial risk inherent in potential proposals or contracts.
- Oversee organisational contract development and management activities and enforce organisation principles of integrity and compliance.
- Manage allocated contract implementation and transition, including management of suppliers.
- Directly manage relationships with over 30 vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters.

**Role Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in a contract management (or equivalent) role in a procurement environment and a good working knowledge of contract management processes and techniques.
- Demonstrated investigative and analytical skills
- Ability to understand complex legal agreements.
- Ability to understand complex financial analysis and reports.
- Ability to interpret statutory and case law.
- Ability to review, develop and implement guidelines and operating processes.
- Ability to work under limited direction, including experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and deadlines
- Provide a current National or Queensland Police Certificate prior to commencement and hold a current Queensland driver's license.Be prepared for intra-state travel as required.
