**The Company**

Ausdocs Group owns and manages twelve GP medical centres across Queensland, with a Brisbane head office based in Kangaroo Point. The group is currently experiencing steady growth with additional medical centres across the Eastern seaboard becoming part of the expanding Ausdocs Group family.

**The Role**

In this newly created position, you will leverage strong medical practice management experience to oversee the operations of six (6) general practices in Southeast Queensland. This new role will be developed alongside your strengths and experience, supported by growth opportunities and an effective leadership team.

You will be based at our Head Office, in Kangaroo Point and be required to travel to and work from Ausdocs Group’s practices in the Southeast Queensland region, spanning from Cleveland to Highgate Hill and then Bribie Island.

As the Area Manager reporting to the Group Operations Manager, your duties will include:

- Create and implement the Practice Business Plans in conjunction with Group Operations Manager and Practice Managers
- Assist in supporting the Practice Managers (PMs) in delivering / implementing their individual business plans (operational) for their Practices
- Oversee all operational facets of the individual Medical Practice business’ in the areas of Financial, IT, Marketing, HR, Recruitment, Legal/Compliance and Business Management - Operations/ Administration
- Ensure structures and processes are in place for regular reporting from PMs to Operations Manager and CEO
- Represent the Ausdocs Group at industry events and in the local community to promote our branding, values and ethics

**About you**

You are an experienced Area Manager or Practice Manager in General Practice looking for the next step in your career. You love general practice and are always looking to improve efficiencies, learn more, and connect with your team.

**Skills and Experience**
- At least four years’ experience as a practice manager in general practice (essential)
- Strong understanding of medical practice operational procedures and processes
- Knowledge of government regulations, industry regulations, codes of ethics and best practices (eg. RACGP, AMA, AAPM, WHS, other) as it relates to the Medical Practice industry
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously and productively as part of a team
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Medical Practice software tools (e.g. Best Practice, HotDoc, Cubiko etc.) and a willingness to learn more as needed
- Multi-site health care management and leadership experience (preferable)
