Our client, Wanless Waste Management, is an Australian family-owned company who are seeking a dedicated individual to join their dynamic accounts team. As a leader in commercial waste and recycling solutions, sustainability is at the core of their operations, and they are focused on contributing to a greener future.

We are now partnering with them to find an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time (38-hour week) position based in their office at Warabrook and has come about due to growth in the business.

**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Processing and entering accounts payable invoices
- Ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation and payment of creditor accounts
- Managing the month-end process and reporting
- Fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Carrying out additional finance and administrative duties as required

**Essentially you’ll have**:

- Experience with accounts payable processing
- Highly accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak with a wide range of stakeholders
- A proactive approach and good time management skills
- Confident with picking up and navigating systems, previous experience with Xero an advantage
