**Your new company**

Your new company is leading the way in international electronics and systems within the Defence, Aerospace, Space, Security and Transport markets. With expertise ranging across protected mobility vehicles, naval support services, integrated communications solutions, and vast international capabilities, this company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team in Brisbane. This is a 6-month contract opportunity to start.

**Your new role**

Working on a brand-new project taking a program from acquisition to sustainment, you will be working with key managers to execute this project from start to finish. You will be working with a talented, multidisciplined and driven project team that are all there to support you to succeed. There is a large opportunity to add your mark not just to this project, but to future company wide new policies and procedures from the work that you do.

Your day-to-day duties will include but are not limited to:

- Establish an integrated planning framework to lead supply chain activities
- Align the planning, inventory management and procurement activities
- Analyse and review the company’s current distribution and logistics performance
- Implement supply chain performance measures
- Review supplier agreements
- Working with management to review ERP efficiencies

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in your role you will have demonstrated experience working in a supply chain role in a Defence, Manufacturing or Mining environment, where you have had to be part of a new project. This role will give you the opportunity to really utilise your experience and develop yourself in a leadership role within the team. An inquisitive nature and a love of creating new efficiencies will be highly regarded in this role.
