Leadership role in the Defence Industry - Located on Garden Island - Flexible Work Arrangements

**Your new company**
This well established and dynamic company is in search of a Supply Chain Manager to join their organisation based at Garden Island. You will bring with you the ability to manage their complex supply chain operations.

**Your new role**
This position will require you to work within a defence project maintenance environment coordinating all supply chain and procurement activities. This may include market research, liaising with and conducting technical assessments of suppliers, commercial negotiations, request for quote, raising purchase orders, order status management, and implementation of strategies for the improvement of all internally related functions.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Ideally 8 - 10+ years Supply Chain and Procurement experience with the ability to manage a complex Supply Chain function.
- Proven experience being responsible for the programs processes, systems and tools required to operate a global system.
- Ability to do supply chain reporting, performance evaluation and assessment
- Previous experience working in a logistics support and maintenance environment
- Due to the industry environment, you must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Clearance.
