**About the Role**:
Are you a customer-oriented professional looking for a rewarding career? We're seeking a dedicated **Customer Service Officer** to join our team in **Henderson, Western Australia**, and to cover a staff member on leave for 7 months until March 2025. The Customer Service Representative is the primary internal contact for our customers. The position is expected to enhance the company’s reputation by providing appropriate advice and communication in a timely effective manner with customers and other personnel within various business units.

**What you will do**:

- Complete registering/ filing and archiving of documentation, while managing order receipt efficiently, prioritising timely order processing and good customer interactions and relationships.
- Support the order-to-cash process with excellence in order processing.
- Act as first level contact and register and process customer orders in the ERP system received via, electronic mail, phone or through other contact with the customer.
- Obtains adequate customer and product knowledge to find solutions for customer needs (e.g. additional and/or alternative products) and making proposals for improvement on work processes.

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in customer service or administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Protective Coatings or Shipping Industry - would also be highly regarded.
