**The position**:
The role will oversee the technical, engineering and site operations of renewable energy plant (Wind, Solar, Battery Storage) reporting on a project-by-project basis to the relevant Asset Manager for the site. The Plant Performance Manager will lead and coordinate the activities of other plant performance engineers who will report directly to this role. The Plant Performance Manager will work collaboratively with other RES Group and RESA staff who also have responsibilities for delivery of the CAMA service to the projects.

Leadership and Governance
- This role is expected to demonstrate excellent collaboration skills, and self-awareness, with the aim to help drive a high-performance culture within the asset management service.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels in the organization.
- Lead and motivate a team of asset engineering staff through either direct or matrix style management
- Undertake a more complex project portfolio
- Act as mentor to junior members of the asset management team
- Undertake direct supervisory and management responsibilities as agreed with the Head of Asset Engineering

Management
- Guide the improvement of the team’s capabilities to improve service to clients and drive down the costs of service delivery
- Line management of direct reports and provide mentoring / management to the wider team.

Business
- Where projects are under construction or are new to the RESA Asset Management portfolio, manage all mobilisation and transitional tasks to ensure that the project is prepared and ready for Operations to the client’s satisfaction, according to the Asset Management Agreement.
- Compile manage and regularly review asset risk registers
- Take responsibility for the relationship and be the key contact with the client.
- Ensure that RES resources are deployed efficiently on the project and the work is carried out to fulfil the obligations within the scope of the CAMA agreement raising variations and proposals for additional services for out of scope works
- Take full responsibility for delivery of the obligations of the respective Asset Management Agreement. Work closely with RESA Business Development Manager to maximise supplementary revenue opportunities.
- the provision of Additional Services to the Client, and where Additional Services have been agreed, manage the delivery of the specified service.
- Ensure that all operating assets adhere to statutory requirements for Health, Safety and Environmental performance and comply with project specific requirements in accordance with planning requirements; grid connection conditions; O&M agreement; warranties and guarantees; power purchase agreements; and all other project agreements and approvals.
