Your New Opportunity:
Join our expanding team at our new process engineered fuel facility based in Hemmant. We are seeking a Plant Runner to provide essential support to our Plant Controller and Shift Supervisor. As the Plant Runner, you will ensure efficient plant operation by monitoring machinery and escalating any issues to the Plant Controller.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Safely operating plant machinery to meet production targets
- Monitoring and troubleshooting plant conditions via HMI interface
- Enforcing safety procedures and promptly reporting incidents
- Maintaining accurate production records and conducting equipment maintenance
- Collaborating with the Plant Controller and Shift Supervisor on continuous improvement strategies
- Communicating effectively with team members using visual, verbal, or radio communication
About you:
- Active Forklift Licence and proficiency in Asbestos handling
- Familiarity with Fire Warden duties and safe lockout procedures (or willingness to undergo training)
- Strong understanding of manual handling and traffic management
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously or collaboratively
