**About the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics**
The Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics is at the forefront of a preventive health revolution. **About the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health**
The Melbourne School of Population Health was established in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in 2001. It became the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health in 2013.
Approximately 300 academic and professional staff work across the School and its partner agencies. The School’s total budget is in excess of $50m. There are approximately 120 higher degree research students (predominantly PhD).
The School aims to strengthen the understanding, capacity and services of society to meet population health needs and to improve the quality and equity of health care.
**About the Role**
The Research Coordinator will provide administrative and managerial support to the Population Interventions Unit Head and staff and assist with selected academic support roles such as literature reviews and report preparation.
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and facilitating meetings, including diary booking, agenda setting and distribution, collating minutes and action points, and following up on delivery of action points.
- Project management: Ensuring the efficient management of the operations of the unit and ensuring deadlines and all deliverables are met.
- Organizing and deploying IT solutions to project management.
- Preparing and monitoring budgets for projects.
- Undertaking literature searches, reviewing literature, and assisting with collating findings and preparation of these elements for publications.
**About You**
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to build positive working relationships with people at all levels across the organisation. You will also have well developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, with a strong attention to detail.
You will also have:
- A tertiary qualification, with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
- Previous experience in a broad range of administrative duties.
It is also highly desirable that you have:

- Demonstrated experience in administering and managing research programs_. _
