**Your new role**
This is a newly created role reporting to the Senior Compliance Officer and playing an integral part in supporting and improving the company compliance and month end processes.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing annual statutory financial statements and reports
- Take part in coordinating the external audit functions
- Help in ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations
- Support in verifying the related party transactions and documentations to support them.
- Facilitate in preparation of inter entity reconciliation
- Assist in verifying and reconciling fortnightly payroll and leave provisions including annual workers compensation declarations
- Assist in monitoring policies, system procedures and practices and recommend updates to provide sound financial management
- Maintenance of financial/management accounts and general ledger systems and assisting in processing of month end accounting journals
- Play a role in the preparation of the annual budget and reforecasts
- Assist in other Ad-hoc duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
Essential:

- Up to date knowledge of new accounting standards
- CA/CPA qualified
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar function
- Big4 or audit firm experience is desirable
- Exposure to Tech One or any large ERP (eg SAP)
- Adaptability and the drive to follow tasks through to completion both accurately and to required timeframes Experience with month-end recs, Audit experience - preparing schedules Statutory reporting and FBT experience Strong excel skills to manage large volumes of data

**What you'll get in return**
- Salary $90K -$110k + Superannuation
- Fixed-Term Contract - 12 months
- Western Sydney Location
