**About the role**

Bandag Manufacturing is the leading producer of precured rubber for the truck/bus tyre retread market in Australia. As part of the Bridgestone Group, we supply products, services, and equipment to a licensed Dealer network across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. In this role, you will have the opportunity to travel and play a crucial role in addressing processing and equipment-related issues for our tyre-retreading, dealer network.
- Collaborate with franchised dealers to resolve processing and equipment issues
- Conduct Certification Quality Audits at retread factories as directed
- Deliver Bandag technical training courses to the dealer network, both in-factory and in classroom settings
- Update and maintain all Bandag technical training courses and materials
- Liaise with dealers to conduct equipment and safety surveys
- Perform installations, fault finding, and repairs on retread equipment

**About you**
- Mechanical aptitude and experience in installing, fault-finding, and repairing production equipment (ideally retread equipment)
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of the Bandag Retread Process or similar tyre-related industries highly regarded
- Formal trade or tertiary qualifications are desirable
- Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work with a willingness to travel throughout Australia and the South Pacific (some out of hours work may be required)
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite of software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A current driver's license, as a fully maintained utility vehicle will be provided
