**The Role**
The Information Services Officer is responsible for providing administrative and project support within the Information Management section. This includes resolving information management and library services queries via the Information Management helpdesk and Service Now platform, performing records management and library services tasks using Content Manager, Microsoft 365, MS Teams, SharePoint online and the Koha library catalogue, as well as providing mailroom support, when required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the APS Level 3 may include:

- Supporting the Information Management section by handling queries via the helpdesk and ServiceNow platform, including creating incident and service requests, and prioritising tasks to achieve outcomes in a timely manner.
- Performing general administration tasks upon request, using established standard operating procedures to complete tasks in reasonable timeframes.
- Supporting Library Services, including managing subscriptions, identifying and retrieving articles, and processing circulation requests.
- Assisting with special projects as they arise such as the appraisal and disposal of physical records and the weeding of library physical resources under the guidance of senior staff.
- Escalating complex tasks to senior staff and tracking those tasks to completion.
- Providing mailroom support, such as processing of daily mail and freight items, when required.

**Qualifications and Education**
**Essential**
- Experience with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365.
