- Competitive APS6 rates incl 11% super
- 6 month contract, with the possibility of extensions

**Working arrangements**:
The contractor will be working a full time, 38 hour work week. Flexible working arrangements may be considered with regards to a work from home allowance of 2-3 days which may be negotiated and arranged during the onboarding process.

**About the role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Support stakeholder engagement by the Advisory Group, including with First Nations communities and organisations
- create materials to support stakeholder engagement and raise public awareness of the work of the Advisory Group
- work with the Department’s communications area to develop content for public release (e.g. web content, social media)
- monitor and report on stakeholder activities and outcomes
- support the secretariat function of the Advisory Group
- demonstrate capability to assist in the coordination of stakeholder activities
- should be open to and expect some necessary and regular travel.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders including First Nations people and communities, not for profit organisations, governments and industry
- strong writing skills with the ability to write for different audiences including the Advisory Group’s social media accounts
- experience in, or be willing to learn, secretariat work
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
