The practice has catered for the local community for over 27 years and is very much a part of the village. We also have a dedicated children’s vision clinic.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Practice Manager**, or Senior Dispenser looking to take the next step in their career, to join our highly experienced and professional team. Working in an Independent Optometry Practice, you will be responsible for the operational leadership of all practice functions. The achievement of business growth, goals and strategies will be done through the support and development of the team and the implementation of marketing, Human Resources and Operational Strategies.

Dependent on the applicant this role could be structured for either full time or part time hours - offering work life balance

Working along-side the business owner, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Management of the day to day operations of the practice
- Oversee practice stock and supplier relations
- Provide multiple solutions in dispensing lenses, frames, contact lenses and other eye wear to meet all the eye care needs of patients
- Rosters of staff
- Excellence in practice and staff appearance to enhance the customer journey

**ABOUT YOU**

The successful person will have the following skills and attributes:

- Optical experience - Qualified dispenser with at least 2 years working in
a similar role
- Retail management and leadership experience
- Exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Superior organisational and planning
- Ability to influence change, work positively and constructively within a team
- Eager to learn and have enthusiasm for new challenges
