**The role**
As
**Supply Chain Manager** you will be a key member of the
**Torrensville Operations Site Management and Production team**. Responsible and accountable for all aspects of the Cylinder Supply Chain for South Australia including local, regional inventory management and production planning, ICC scanning compliance, stock accuracy, logistics, KPI monitoring and performance whilst supporting tactical Delivery, Operations and Sales programs.

Your innate ability to influence and inspire others to commit to executing strategies that meet BOC Supply Chain, Production and Safety targets will hold you in good stead in this role.

**Some key responsibilities include**:

- 100% Safety first for self and others - Lead by example, inspect workplace and implement BOC program
- Oversee supply chain processes for customer and plant-to-plant stock movement, import, export and CMC products.
- Implement and maintain Production site compliance-all Local and Regional Supply Chain processes
- Lead & implement Supply Chain initiatives including timely completion of critical daily & periodic activities.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for efficiency and cost-savings in the supply chain
- Monitoring & maintaining Production site cylinder stock, raw materials & bulk stock accuracy levels
- Production Planning that meets KPI’s, working closely with the Shift Manager and Production team.
- Super user responsibilities for process compliance across all operating systems (eg, SAP, LiMA, InLabel, LCM)
- Participate in peer-group meetings, workshops & conferences e.g., Production, Distribution, Safety
- Work closely with internal/external stakeholders to achieve production plans, efficiency and safety targets
- Respond appropriately to enquiries and requests from the Sales, Agent & Customer Service and Deliver teams.

**What we like about you**:

- Degree qualified and/or at least five years in a Supply Chain or Logistics management role
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment-preferably industrial gases or similar industry
- Leadership and people management experience in a team environment
- High proficiency in SAP ERP
- Technically competent with barcode-based inventory control systems/software
- Understanding of site cylinder operations, Production Planning, ICC, Dangerous goods, National Heavy Vehicle Codes and Chain of responsibility for transport operations.
