Consumer Insights Manager

Bega Group is seeking a market research and strategic expert to be the voice of our consumer for our market leading product portfolio. You will be the conduit between the customer and our business, gathering data from diverse sources and making recommendations to improve the position and profitably of our products. As the Consumer Insights Manager, it will be your mission to manage all internal and external market research, reviewing intelligence and providing strategic advice. You will be working within a small insights team, partnering with the wider team to have maximum impact on our much-loved product portfolio

To be successful in the role we are seeking an exceptional Consumer Insights Manager with proven expertise in the design, analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative research, with the expertise to create meaningful and intelligent recommendations on how best to capitalise on our opportunities. You will ideally have sound knowledge of our product portfolio and be excited to develop a comprehensive understanding of our services and markets and be driven to guide the role they play in our consumers’ lives.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the design and execution of Consumer and/or Shopper research projects- Support (sometimes lead) the Brand Marketing team on the development and review of portfolio strategies, innovation strategy, nutrition strategy, sustainability strategy, all brand positioning work-
- Lead all required research planning processes across our brands and innovation initiatives and partner brand managers on relevant external agency collaborations- Lead the dissemination of data-driven insights that drive better strategies and opportunities for growth of the organization- Manage all projects within allocated timeframes and budgets and manage variances promptly with leader or key stakeholders.

About you- Vast experience in market research, agency or client side, with strong skills in design and implementation of consumer research (qualitative, quantitative, sensory), category management or sales analytics.- Solid track record of working in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), with experience in innovation processes, shopper activation and category management and development-
- Experience in mining sales scan data (Nielsen, IRI, Quantium) and shopper data- Talented storyteller with skilled written and oral presentation skillsThe Bega Group Story
