**The position**:

- Managing all events and functions within the venue according to run sheets provided.
- Weekly meeting with the events co-ordinator to discuss all aspects of the up coming events.
- Ensuring each event is set up according to customer requirements
- Effectively managing a team of 1 - 5 staff members ensuring that each event is run in an efficient manner.
- Assisting with customer requirements around their event
- Working with the chefs around menu and dietary requirements.
- Weekly meetings with management to effectively plan out each week and discuss any issues that need to be rectified.
- Replying to all event enquires in a timely manner.
- Following up all event enquiries according to company policy's.

**About you**:
You will be able to ensure consistency of both food and beverage service ensuring that it is performed in a friendly, courteous, efficient and professional manner. You must display superior attention to detail..

You will have the ability to work and remain focused under pressure and the ability to manage customer and staff relationships. Previous experience in an function/event managing would be favourable.
