**About the Role**:
Based in our Parramatta office, and working within our longstanding Defence Contract, an opportunity exists for an experienced Scheduling manager.

The primary objective is to manage the end-to-end scheduling process and the accurate updating of the Scheduling system.

Ventia is the largest provider of Defence estate support services and facilities management. We have over 20 years’ experience delivering base support capabilities.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Meet our customer's required delivery of service by ensuring all activities are scheduled for optimal resource utilisation.
- Lead & provide best practice scheduling practices to contract strategies, policies and procedures, advice, leadership, and guidance to proactively manage risks and opportunities with respect to Scheduling function, systems, and data.
- Minimise operating costs and improve customer satisfaction through increased availability.
- Be able to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
- Oversee weekly schedule freeze and compliance frameworks.
- Identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome.
- Demonstrate ability to work autonomously with a high degree of motivation, energy, initiative, and commitment.

**Key Skills and Abilities**:

- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in scheduling or production planning team
- Knowledge of CLICK automated scheduling system, or similar high volume enterprise scheduling systems is highly advantageous.
- Excellent proficiency of ERP systems and associated master data, SAP experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience in KPI development, Power BI data analytics or equivalent reporting systems.
- Special conditions:
This position requires to be an Australian Citizen.
Must be able to obtain an Australian Defence Baseline Security Clearance.
