**Summary**

The ICT Estimations Manager will lead the development and implementation of a robust Project Estimations Framework and Tools for ICT Projects, ensuring the delivery of accurate cost and schedule estimations. Leveraging historical project data and market insights, they will continuously enhance the Estimations tool to meet the evolving needs of the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development or procurement of a ‘fit for purpose’ Project Estimations Framework and Tools for ICT Projects, ensuring the delivery of accurate cost and schedule estimations for ICT initiatives and projects.
- Utilize historical project data and current ICT market data to enhance the capability and accuracy of the Estimations tool continuously, aligning inputs and outputs with department’s business requirements.
- Manage and collaborate closely with Client Stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met, maintaining strong relationships with the BA Practice, Solution Architects, PMO, and Delivery Teams.
- Provide expert advice and information on estimation and cost planning to stakeholders, presenting estimations to support initiatives and projects in line with established plans, timeframes, and policy objectives.
- Oversee research efforts and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based initiative/project estimations and decision-making processes.
- Manage bid office deliverables relevant to the Estimations function, including liaison and consultation with Commercial/Procurement teams, development of proposal templates, and submission of delivery proposals internally.
- Support or be consulted during the development of Master Schedules for programs/projects as required.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director in developing business plans and goals.
- Lead and Manage Estimations team member(s) in a functional manager capacity, with people leadership responsibilities.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing and refining the Estimations function.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in project estimation and management, particularly within the ICT sector.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement.
