**What this opportunity involves**:
This is a full-time onsite position working in the client's Melbourne head office.

As the National Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of customer and property services to a portfolio of commercial and retail buildings for one of Australia’s largest private health insurance providers. Oversee 85 retail stores as well as a corporate portfolio of 5 tenancies which spans across the country.

**An Overview of the role**:
Deliver facilities services to operate and maintain the commercial and retail portfolio

Services include financial, technical, maintenance procurement, asset and vendor management and facilities administration

Engage with stakeholders across all business levels to ensure service delivery expectations are met

Maintain site compliance in line with relevant law and legislation

Proactively manage vendors to ensure contractual objectives are met and risk is minimised

Incident management and emergency works oversight

Contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the portfolio and share continuous improvement initiatives

Undertake minor client project requirements

Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation and performance excellence

**Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for**:
Proven experience working in corporate real estate/facilities, qualifications are desirable but not mandatory

As you will have one direct report to oversee, you will need someone who is a leader and can provide mentorship.

Facilities Management experience in a retail setting is highly desirable

Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse data for reporting purposes

Engaging people manager who thrives on inspiring team development

Understanding of critical facilities

Vendor management experience for specialised services

Confident communicator with stakeholder engagement skills
