Manage operations of a retail property network's compliance and preventative and reactive maintenance schedule

**Your new company**

Hays is partnering with a global leader in the automotive sector with presence in 17 countries and over 600 locations in Australia. Our client has created a new role reporting into the National Facilities Manager following multiple acquisitions and significant property portfolio growth.

Our client fosters a dynamic, down-to-earth, collaborative and highly supportive internal property services division, with store development, fit-out/design, legal/leasing and facilities teams.

**Your new role**
- Management of day-to-day operations which includes all aspects of Programmed and Reactive Maintenance and Compliance
- Communicating regularly with Store Operations, National FM and GM of Property on maintenance issues and requests
- Driving cost-effective solutions for outsourced contract work and preparing payments for processing
- Procure compliant contractors for required work and then managing all work orders
- Deliver on all compliance and statutory requirements, including regular property audits
- Promptly report all OHS hazards, injuries, and incidents whilst ensuring works comply with OH&S requirements

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in multi-site, remote/on-site Facilities Management or in a similar role within a property/facilities management retail environment.
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail especially with high volumes of work
- Strong team player who is cooperative and collaborates with others to achieve outstanding results
- Technical FM skills including the ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines and effectively balance competing demands
