To support our rapid growth and dynamic workplace, we are now seeking an experienced and proactive HR Specialist to join our Sydney head office.
**About the Role**
As an HR Specialist at TMGM, you will play a key role in supporting our people strategy and enhancing employee experience across all departments. You will act as a trusted adviser to management and staff, providing expert guidance on HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and contributing to a positive and high-performing culture.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide daily HR support to managers and staff on employee relations, performance, and workplace matters.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job ads to interviews and hiring decisions.
- Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including contracts, inductions, and compliance checks.
- Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee data in the HRIS system.
- Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives.
- Stay informed on relevant employment laws, awards, and compliance requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 year’s work experience in performing the above tasks in a similar role.
- Tertiary qualification in the related field.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage, but not required.
