**What you will be doing**:
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical architecture and engineering tasks and be a pioneer of our technical best practice for one of our Agile teams’ products along with an effective delivery of Shifts third party and internally managed IT infrastructure.

Working with Shifts Product Owners to convert business requirements you will also be part of influencing high quality coding standards. Your proven strong facilitation, coaching skills, and experience in leading and managing the delivery of system & software development projects will help take your career to the next level. **How will you make a difference**:

- You’ll Identify risks, manage issues and drive stakeholders to deliver on time and to quality standards while suggesting frameworks, technical standards, coding, and software practices
- Designing solutions, documenting, and leading end-to-end architecture of new initiatives
- Mentor, guide and coach developers within the Agile team while leading the development and lifetime maintenance of software products
- You will test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimisation

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant Software Engineering or Software Science based qualification / equivalent

**Skills that set you apart**
- Proven experience in leading and managing the agile teams for the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment
- Strong experience in these tech stack - React,.Net & C#, RESTful API and API best practices, DevOps and CI/CD processes, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure and cloud platforms.
- Strong experience with event-driven microservices and APIs in a distributed architecture, decoupling legacy platform
- Experience in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design
- Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code across all platforms
