**The Opportunity**

The West Region Delivery Team is recruiting for the Sydney Water P4S program. It is a 10 year construction programme in the western suburbs, constructing critical infrastructure for Sydney Water and our communities.

**You will be Responsible for**

You will primarily be responsible for leading the safe and productive laying of Steel, GRP, HDPE and Dicl, for water and waste water systems, on various sites in western Sydney

**What we need from you?**

Only experienced Civil Pipe Layers who have a solid understanding in laying stormwater, deep sewer and water mains will be considered. Leading Hands will need to display knowledge in using dumpy levels / lasers and reading plans to be considered for these vacancies.
- Proven commitment to safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Minimum 2 years pipe laying experience
- Trade qualifications highly desirable
- Good leadership skills
- Capable of Laying sewer, storm water, water main.
- Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
- Reliable & Punctual with a good attitude towards work
- Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in your work
- Good on-site problem solving expertise
- At least 2 contactable referees

Desirable but not essential
- Truck licence (MR/HR)
- Excavator RII
- Poly Welding tickets
- FIFM training
- Control electrical risks on metallic pipes certification
