Our Group operations exceed 6,000 fuel and convenience sites across Europe and the US, bringing a wealth of experience to our Retail Operations in Australia.

**About the role**:
EG Australia is currently establishing the daily transactional operation activities of Transaction Services (namely Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Banking). This newly formed team will expand the AU Finance function and will seek to maximise efficiencies as we localise the 60,000 monthly transactions currently performed by EG Group Shared Services in the UK.

As a result we are looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Lead to ensure the accurate processing of invoices, payments and reconciliations for the EG Australia business. Overseeing a team of 5 you will directly support BAU activities whilst identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the effectiveness of account payments and interaction with our vendors.

**Key responsibilities...**
- Oversee the delivery of accurate & timely processing of all accounts, their subsequent payment and follow up
- Contribute to process development projects and highlight efficiencies to be gained
- Proactive engagement with Merchandise, Fuel and Store operations teams to ensure a smooth end to end P2P process
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve any invoicing, payment or account related queries
- Bridge knowledge gaps within the team and support their development

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience in Accounts Payable management in a high-volume multi site business
- Proven ability to lead a National Accounts payable team and drive change
- Effective time management and ownership of tasks
- Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude, adaptable to change and outcome focused
- Passion for innovation and creative problem-solving
