**Job Description**:
The purpose of this role is to manage all communication, agreements and relationships with vendors and carriers globally for the effective and strategic procurement and negotiation of carrier services and capabilities. This covers existing Symbio relationships as well as building new ones as Symbio enters new markets.

This role will lead the Carrier and Procurement team, owning and delivering exceptional carrier & vendor relationships. The role is expected to work closely with the current Carrier Account Managers, Products and Finance

This role will also support the delivery and support teams with carrier-related information and coordination. There will be a requirement to work in a multi-stakeholder environment and may collaborate with various internal business units to ensure the optimal outcome for Symbio.

The Chapter Manager Carrier Solutions will also provide input into the performance, strategy and direction of the CPaaS business unit and is a member of the CPaaS Products team.

**Qualifications**:
**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Up to 15 yrs experience within the domestic/international telecommunications market is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of the international or domestic telecommunications business.
- Company contacts within the global telecommunications market are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated people-management experience
- Demonstrated analytical and numeric skills
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation experience
- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to present complex solutions in an understandable format
- Well-developed relationship building and management skills
- Experience in negotiating large interconnect deals with established Tier 1 telecommunications providers in-county
- Experience in managing voice interconnect arrangements
- Experience in dealing with regulatory and industry bodies
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision is essential
