Join our clients as an Accounts Payable and Customer Relations Specialist in this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounts payable processing while also being the first point of contact for our valued clients, drivers, and visitors in Laverton. If you have a knack for building strong relationships, managing tasks with precision, and contributing to a collaborative team environment, this role is for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage incoming phone calls and establish friendly rapport with customers and suppliers.
- Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
- Key invoices into the finance system accurately and in compliance with payment terms and deadlines.
- Reconcile supplier statements with ledger balances for accuracy.
- Prepare payments to creditors and perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Send out monthly statements to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Generate weekly reports on aged debtors and billing discrepancies.

**Skills and Experience**:

- 3 years of experience in accounts-related activities or general accounting.
- Proficient in using Xero and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong task management and prioritization abilities to meet deadlines effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
