We now have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager, Retail, to join our Property team based in Melbourne.

About the opportunity

Working as a pivotal part of the retail team, you will be accountable a portfolio of neighbourhood and sub-regional retail assets located across Victoria.

Your role will have you strategically plan, communicate, and ensure the delivery of asset KPI’s including income, capital expenditure, leasing and development feasibilities. This role will also have you managing quarterly valuations, arrears management acquisition and divestment preparation for each asset.

You will provide leadership to ensure the delivery performance objectives for each asset and you will be accountable for planning and delivery of net income budgets, critical leasing, total returns and rent returns.

Working closely with the leasing team, you will co-create the leasing plan in line with property investment assumptions to ensure optimal tenant mix is achieved, as well are proactively plan and manage the delivery of the quarterly valuation process. About you

The linchpin of your assets, you bring your experience in retail markets, investment management and retail master planning. Having completed your tertiary qualification in real estate, property, or finance, you understand retail tenant mix, P&L’s, capital returns and valuations.

You pride yourself on your strong networks and stakeholder management skills and are comfortable negotiating strategic thinking and people management. In addition, you have demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, ideally within working with external data/data analysts to understand trends and make data-driven decisions.
