The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Studio Manager to lead the operations of our creative studio in Sydney. The position of Studio Manager is central to the successful day-to-day operation and governance of the studio, while providing direct support to Studio Directors in the execution of strategic objectives. In this role you will have broad and diverse areas of accountability. With both local studio and Executive support, you will oversee the general operations of the studio, people and resourcing, marketing and proposals, and office management contributing to performance of the Studio. You’ll play an important part in defining and maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture and lead all things human resources locally. The Studio Manager is responsible for oversight of the support team and ensuring general studio operations are smooth and efficient.

About You

You will have a good graphical design eye and experience in using InDesign or similar layout software You will have strong numerical and communication skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience in using project billing systems will be highly desirable. An understanding or experience with quality management systems (ISO9001 compliant or similar) will be beneficial.
- A high level of business acumen including people, culture, financial and resourcing.
- 5+ years of experience managing medium
- to large-size teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with people at all levels.
- Excellent written and numerical skills and high attention to detail.
- An understanding of the landscape or architecture industry, a passion for design, and genuine alignment with ASPECT’s Purpose.
- Qualifications in project management, business, commerce (or similar) preferred.
