We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Field Sales Manager** available in our Sales team in our Melbourne location.

**Key Activities / Accountabilities**
- Identify and build relationships with clients that meet where GEODIS can offer genuine value
- Deliver GP Budgets for the assigned trade lane and/or territory
- Meet FaceTime targets as agreed by visits and teams meeting, to both new prospects and existing customers
- Build & maintain opportunity pipelines more than the territory budgets/ hit rates
- Promptly work upon and register opportunities generated in CRM
- Document and distribute internally relevant customer information
- Contact customers and handle customer inquiries and customer problems
- Work collaboratively with sales colleagues and related functions to maximize sales potentials and help meet the total organisation’s business goals
- Handle complaints and trouble shooting
- Use Geodis Selling processes to understand customer needs, keep updated with new sailings/routings/solutions in the market to provide client solutions that bring value to their clients supply chains

**Skills and experience**
- Proven Understanding of International Supply Chain - i.e. Freight Forwarding experience essential
- Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience with proven sales capability
- Working knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry
- Sales experience and working knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry
- Strong financial acumen

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
