The Professional Services Coordinator is
responsible for the administration and
coordination of the professional accreditation,
and timetabling within the Faculty of Health’s
Specialist Student Support Team.

The position will be responsible for keeping
abreast of any relevant changes that impact
both timetabling and professional accreditation
activities. This includes internal course
changes that impact tuition patterns, program

of study and enrolment numbers. The
Professional Service Coordinator will be
required to stay informed of developments and
updates with accreditation standards/policies,
ensuring that QUT systems display correct
information such as AHEGS.

The role will assist with monitoring
accreditation cycles, preparation of
submissions, maintenance of documentation
and reporting to relevant Faculty committees
and other shared workloads with the
Accreditation Officer.

The Professional Service Coordinator works

collaboratively with all Faculty staff to facilitate

the delivery of class timetables and

professional accreditation requirements in

accordance with guidelines set by the

University and relevant external bodies.

The Professional Services Coordinator

maintains regular contact with central

departments such as Student Engagement

(HiQ), Curriculum Support Team and Student

Administration in order to ensure delivery of

professional accreditation and timetabling

requirements for the Faculty of Health.

This position reports to the Manager, Specialist
Student Support for supervision, workload
management and for Performance Planning
and Review (PPR).

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Effective supervision and workload

management for a small team
- Actively engage within the Faculty of

Health, with other QUT partners, and with
external professional accreditation bodies
to maintain awareness of any changes that
impact timetabling and professional
accreditation.
- Provide analysis and reporting for relevant

stakeholders and update information
resources used by the timetabling team to
deliver a desirable timetable service.
- Develop resources and tools for all Faculty

of Health members to ensure successful
accreditation submissions and other
required activities.
- Collaboratively work with the Accreditation

Officer to set timelines for all professional
accreditation activities.
- Analyse and coordinate timetable mapping

and clash-proofing, to optimise class
allocation.
- Develop and maintain relevant data in a

logical manner, to enable timely high level
information as required.
- Provide high level information or reports to

the Assistant Dean Teaching and Learning
and/or Deputy Dean as required.
- Work collaboratively with other members of

Specialist Student Support.
- Compliance with health and safety policies,

procedures, hazard reporting and safe work
practices.

To ensure job flexibility the successful
appointee may be required to:

- perform any other duties as nominated by

the University consistent with the relevant
classification descriptors detailed in the
Enterprise Agreement. Staff undertaking
any new duties will receive training;
- participate in job rotation or multiskilling in

consultation with their supervisor;
- work across campuses

**Type of appointment**
This appointment will be offered on an
ongoing, full-time basis.

Selection Criteria

1. Completion of a degree with at least 4
years subsequent relevant experience, or
an equivalent combination of relevant
experience and/or education/training.

2. High level written and interpersonal
communication skills with demonstrated
ability to communicate with a wide range of
people at all levels of a large organisation.

3. Proven capability to take initiative, critically
evaluate business requirements, develop
effective processes and satisfactorily
resolve complex problems, with mínimal
guidance and instruction.

4. Demonstrated well-developed
organisational skills with the ability to
effectively plan and prioritise work and
interpret rules and policy.

5. Ability to analyse and interpret data and
present findings in a meaningful way.

6. Demonstrated digital literacy at a high level
Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office 365
products.

**Remuneration and Benefits**

The classification for this position is Higher
Education Worker Level 7 (HEW7) which has
an annual remuneration range of $106,988 to
$117,034 pa. Which is inclusive of an annual
salary range of $90,406 to $98,895 pa, 17%
superannuation, and leave loading.
