**About the Role**

As a Commercial Analyst for Canon, using a ‘whole of life’ market focus and by interacting throughout the business you will plan, propose and deliver active commercial analytics to Canon Business Information Services (BIS) to assist with achieving sustainable growth in line with the overall business strategy. This is a Macquarie Park based role with work from options, reporting to Senior Manager - Commercial & Planning.

**Main Duties**
- Provide analysis, modelling and insights to support decision making, plan and implement agreed strategic and operational initiatives
- Involvement and provision of sound commercial advice to Sales teams in key deals
- Commercial input into various operational activities such as forecasts, campaigns, product launches etc
- Product / category end to end profitability view and management
- Contribute to achieving division level overarching goals

**About You**

You will ideally be working in a similar position with exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management. You will be finishing your CA or CPA, alternatively have at least 3-5 yrs’ experience in a commercial environment. Canon is an agile, flexible, hands-on environment where everyone is involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Key Skills & Experience include
- Qualified/Part qualified CA or CPA or degree qualified in a business discipline, preferably Finance
- Proficient in Excel & Power BI
- Knowledge of ERP financial modules, preferably TMI & Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and financial and corporate reporting requirements
- Proven experience in a time critical analytical role (ability to meet strict deadlines)
- Experience of TM1, Microsoft Access, Oracle and MS Visual Basic desirable
