Our client is one of the most well regarded and respected businesses in the Australian drinks industry. They are currently in an exciting phase with the acquisition of a new business and the further enhancement of their own brands. As such they are recruiting a Commercial Analyst to partner with the leadership team to support the reporting and analysis of commercial metrics, ensuring timely and accurate inputs and insights to enable better decisions in managing business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform weekly bank reconciliations
- Support month-end closing and processes
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
- Perform BAS statements and lodgements
- Manage monthly excise tax returns
- Payroll management including employee entitlements and expenses
- Assist with inventory management (using DEAR software)
- Pricing management including modelling, analysis and bi-annual pricing updates
- Support Commercial Manager with generation of weekly snapshot reporting and monthly business performance reporting
- Cash flow forecasting
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Liaise with external accounting firm

Ideally you bring the following attributes:

- Qualification in Commerce, Business or Accounting desirable
- Previous experience working as a Commercial Analyst or similar ideally within Liquor industry highly desirable
- Experience in financial analysis/modelling, commercial strategy and forecasting
- Knowledge of Xero and DEAR Inventory Management
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong commercial outlook and financial acumen
