Commercial Finance Analyst – FMCG

Are you looking to join a fast-paced FMCG business where you can make an impact from day one? This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Commercial Finance Analyst to join a leading brand, based in Mascot, on a 6-month fixed-term contract with potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with commercial teams to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Driving data analytics and financial modelling to support sales and business performance.
  • Leveraging Excel/SAP/BI tools to translate data into actionable insights that influence stakeholders.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, challenging the status quo, and contributing to process efficiency.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner, bringing agility and professionalism to commercial discussions.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial finance role.
  • Previous exposure to Sales Planning systems (desirable, not essential).
  • Strong data analytics and modelling experience, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent business partnering skills, able to build relationships and manage challenging situations.
  • Proactive and inquisitive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • High proficiency in Excel, SAP, and BI tools.
