- The Molycop Australia business employs around 600 staff and wages roles across operations in Waratah, Newcastle and Bassendean, WA, and competes in the global market with its' world class Rail and Grinding Media products. Molycop is looking to fill the role of Accounts Payable Officer to be based at Waratah.

To be successful in this role you will have;
- a minimum 3 years of A/P experience
- previous experience with using a large ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
- a high level of proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- strong communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader, this role will be responsible for:

- Capturing supplier invoice details utilising optical character recognition software (Readsoft) for importation into Microsoft Dynamics 365
- High volume processing of vendor invoices including accurate recording of liabilities and timely payment, in accordance with agreed payment terms
- Processing of freight component requiring accurate matching of invoices
- Monitor the Accounts Payable enquiries inbox, responding to supplier queries or requests for information, and escalating matters across the team as required; and
- Participate in periodic reconciliation of supplier statements including the investigation and resolution of discrepancies
- Building relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to smooth the flow of information and assist in resolving issues and queries
- Verifying discrepancies through active ledger management and creditor reporting
