**About the Role**:
**Reporting to**: Business Development Manager
**Employment Type**: 12-Month, Fixed Term, Full-time (Maternity Leave Cover)
**Work Location**: WFH + South Wharf
As Tender Officer, you will support tender processes, contract negotiations, and freight agreements to optimize outcomes for ANL, CMA-CGM, and the group. Monitor tender results, analyse performance data, and coordinate with the commercial team.
**The role and responsibilities will include**:
Managing the pricing policy of the ANL tenders (identified) as per group commercial strategy through the GBS and agency network
Supervise and assist with the compilation and distribution of working procedures for active global / Global account customers
Supervise the maintenance of the regional/global accounts database
Prepare regular reports to Global, agency, state and commercial managers on tenders received, progress of tenders, and final results
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
Experience within the container shipping industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (including spreadsheet databases) and PowerPoint
Broad understanding of the ANL Business and systems
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including legal obligations mandated by laws and regulations
If you are a New Zealand citizen and planning to relocate permanently to Melbourne, Australia, you are more than welcome to apply.
