**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Melbourne branch, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all freight forwarding activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, expand market presence, and increase revenue.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, providing insights into branch performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.

Proven experience in freight forwarding, with a solid understanding of industry practices, regulations, and market dynamics. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve targets and objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Strategic commercial thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans, drive revenue growth, and optimize operational efficiency.
