**The day-to-day**
ALS Geochemistry is seeking an
**Administration Officer **to support the operations of a fast-paced minerals preparation and analytical laboratory.

Based in
**Malaga**, this is a
**Full-Time** position, and the role's primary function is administration assistance to our busy HSE department, utilising MS Office suite products and the company’s Compliance Portal on SharePoint.

However, the successful applicant will be required to undertake other duties as required and within their capabilities.

The successful applicant will be required to work
**Monday to Friday between business hours of 8 am to 5 pm**, with some flexibility on start times. Free parking is also available on-site.

Reporting to the HSE Manager duties will include both Administration and HSE tasks, which include:

- Assist the HSE and Laboratory teams in daily administration tasks
- Data entry and general filing duties
- Support laboratory HSE team needs, including organising regular health monitoring, first aid bookings and kit supply
- Conducting Safety audits
- Ensuring compliance of the laboratory to the ALS HSE Foundation Standards.
- Assisting with injury management and return to work processes.
- Monitoring and recording hazard observations, near misses and injuries.
- Provide back-up reception and general administration relief when required

**The Essentials**
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to collect, interpret and manage data efficiently and accurately.
- The ability to work autonomously and prioritise daily, weekly and monthly tasks effectively
- Good alpha/numeric skills
- Strong language skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
- Strong computer skills, and experience with the MS Office suite
- A proven ability to retain large amounts of information is essential.
- A hands-on attitude to a variety of tasks
- Well presented with a friendly team manner
- An interest or some background in HSE would be well regarded but not essential.
