We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office & Payroll Admin All-Rounder to join our dynamic construction team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wears multiple hats, and enjoys keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities Office Administration
- Manage day-to-day office operations including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and general office upkeep
- Assist with scheduling meetings, site visits, and coordinating trades
- Support project managers and site supervisors with documentation and reporting
Payroll & Accounts
- Process weekly/fortnightly payroll using Xero
- Maintain accurate employee records including timesheets, leave, and entitlements
- Assist with onboarding new staff and subcontractors
- Prepare and lodge superannuation, PAYG, and other statutory obligations
- Support accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
Compliance & HR Support
- Ensure WHS documentation is up to date and filed correctly
- Assist with maintaining licences, insurances, and certifications through Tradie Pass
- Support HR with employee communications and performance tracking
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in office administration and payroll (construction industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and accounting software
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
